Konstantinos Grammatoglou


I was born in Thessaloniki, in Greece on 1980. After the 9 years of compulsory education I entered, giving exams, the School of Chemistry in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Before finishing my studies I decided to try something different by studying and working as a Nutrition Consultant. However, my love for organic chemistry, laboratory work and research, brought me back to University where I finished my Bachelor and decided to continue to Master’s degree. I had the opportunity to work with Proffesor Ioannis Gallos group, acquiring good basic skills and knowledge. Working on natural products and bioactive compounds, along with my collaboration with a pharmaceutical company, was a strong stimulating factor in order to try to progress in a higher level. This is how I decided to make an effort for the INTEGRATE program. Having finally being chosen for the position in Riga, I aim to gain as much knowledge as I can, work hard and evolve my scientific qualities.
